CITOC does not sell or share data at all.
How and why we retain your data
If you give us your contact details to book a course or arrange a meeting we only use the information for that purpose. If we transact any business or project work then electronic or paper records will be retained as appropriate for standard accounting and/or project management purposes. If you communicate with us by email, please note that email threads are deleted after a year.
What rights you have over your data
You can ask CITOC to disclose or to erase any data we hold about you (unless we are obliged to keep it, for example for accounting).
When we work with any organisation will not expect to access or hold any of that organisation’s data (for example donor, customer, user or contact datasets) unless it is essential for project delivery and shared with consent. If such access is needed we will discuss and sign an appropriate data protection agreement.
How we protect your data
Access to computers that might contain any data including email threads are all password protected. We do not retain paper records, such documentation is scanned, stored electronically behind passwords, and destroyed.

We do not purchase data from third parties.

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
If any project work we engage in requires registration with a regulator or the adoption of data protection or other policies CITOC will comply fully.
