Who I share your data with
CITOC does not sell or share data at all.
How and why I retain your data
If you give me your contact details to enquire about CITOC’s services or arrange a meeting I only use the information for that purpose. If we transact any business or project work then electronic or paper records will be retained as appropriate for standard accounting and/or project management purposes. If you communicate with me by email, please note that email threads are deleted after a year (roughly, it depends if I remember to do it every month!).
What rights you have over your data
You can ask me to disclose or to erase any data I might hold about you (unless I am obliged to keep it, for example for accounting).
When I work with any organisation I will not expect to access or hold any of that organisation’s data (for example donor, customer, user or contact datasets) unless it is essential for project delivery and shared on that basis. If such access is needed we will discuss and sign an appropriate data protection agreement.
How I protect your data
Access to computers that might contain any data including email threads are all password protected. I do not retain paper records, any such documentation is scanned, stored electronically behind passwords, and destroyed.
What third parties I receive data from
I do not purchase data from third parties.
What profiling I do with user data
I do not profile data
Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
If any project work we engage in requires registration with a regulator or the adoption of an organisation’s data protection or other policies CITOC will comply fully.
